About Mobiles Tech Land

Mobiles Tech Land is an independent tech site that helps people solve everyday problems with their phones, laptops, TVs and the apps that run on them. It has been online since 2013, and every guide is free to read.

Who runs Mobiles Tech Land

Fakhrul Alam, founder and editor of Mobiles Tech Land

Mobiles Tech Land was founded in 2013 by Fakhrul Alam, who still runs it as editor. He is passionate about technology and loves everything from smartphones and laptops to smart TVs, streaming sticks and the AI features built into them.

He started the site to share what he knows publicly, so others can solve their tech problems and get more out of their devices. That is still the reason it exists. The guides answer the questions people actually search for, such as why the battery icon turned yellow, how to move contacts to a new phone, or whether an iPhone survives a swim.

What you’ll find here

  • iPhone & Mac: fixing problems, managing storage and battery, privacy settings, and moving to iPhone from Android.
  • Android: help for Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel and other Android phones, from updates and network errors to crashing apps.
  • How-To & Fixes: step-by-step fixes for phones, tablets and streaming sticks such as the Fire TV Stick.
  • AI & Apps: what the AI features on your phone actually do, what data they use, and which apps are worth your time.
  • Buying Guides: compact, budget and camera-first phones, with the trade-offs explained before you spend.
  • Comparisons: side-by-side looks at phones and platforms, covering cameras, software, battery, price and long-term support.

How the guides are written

  • The answer comes first. Each guide opens with a quick answer, then the steps in order, so you can stop reading as soon as your problem is solved.
  • Facts come from the source. Every guide links to the official Apple, Google, Samsung, Amazon or other page its facts and steps are based on, so you can check them yourself.
  • Older guides get updated. Phones and software change every year. When a menu moves or a new feature arrives, the guide is rewritten to match.
  • Mistakes get fixed. If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, it is corrected as soon as it is reported.

Independence and advertising

Mobiles Tech Land is not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google, Amazon or any other company it writes about. The site is free to read and is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in which topics are covered or which products are recommended.
